I guess it's pretty weak of me to be all worried about a simple cortizone injection into my neck, especially when I know there are amazing people out there in the world who are grappling with life-threatening illnesses.
My procedure is at 11am tomorrow, and I will be fine. And I will think upon those who are facing SO much more, like their mortality, with Dignity and Grace. And their Courage will calm me and remind me of my blessings.

I'm home now, resting. Still feel knotted up in the shoulder area, I've been told it may take a couple of days to see any results.
Dr. Cub was awesome. I wore my "Lonestar Bears" t-shirt to try to catch his eye, but all he ever saw me in was the hospital gown with my ass hanging out. (Not that THAT didn't catch his eye!...who am I kidding? It didn't)
I go back in a couple of weeks for the next injection, and maybe then I'll bring flowers and chocolates.

Good to know that you are done with the injection. It does take a couple of days to notice the difference based on what I heard from some of my friends who got the shots. Get well soon!

Be careful with the steroids. They can permanently alter your endocrine system causing weight gain, diabetes, depression. They also can save lives and improve the quality of life.
Steroids are both good and bad and highly unpreditable. I dont mean to worry you though. You sound like you are in good hands;
