This is on a par with your previous statement that the young people of today are "fetuses in tennis shoes".

I think I can speak for all your friends who are following your trials through this blog in saying that we are very proud of the hard work and dedication you've shown in the last month and a half. You're doing awesome! And no points lost for refering to the VD Paris, it's good to here flashes of your wit now and again. But points off for not keeping up on your emails. You said you'd write if I did and I have several times. Hope to hear a little something from you soon. In the meantime, keep up the good work at the gym and on your diet. Dave

Thanks for the kind words, as well as the admonishment about not responding to emails. You are not the first one to point this out (right, Brian?), but certainly one of the most dear to me. I will do better in the future with you, because re-connecting with you was a wish of mine for many, many, many years.
